The beaches of the Conero Riviera

The shore around the Mira Conero Hotel is unique, with amazing beaches and a clean safe for bathing sea. The shore in the south of Ancona is rich of white unpolluted beaches. Solitary bays and easy reach equipped beaches extend along the coast till the lido of Marcelli, with many services and attractions.

Conero Park

The Mira Conero is a few minutes away from the Conero Park around the Monte Conero massif: 572 metres of Mediterranean scrub overlooking the sea. Established in 1987, the Park is a protected area where you can take a walk on the 18 paths in the wood looking at the migratory birds such as the peregrine falcon and the nocturnal raptors and visit historical and artistic site attractiveness such as “Torre di Guardia” (tower) and the Romanesque church of Santa Maria in the Portonovo bay. The best place for walking, horse riding or mountain bike excursions. In the local wineries and farms you can taste and buy the exellent Rosso Conero wine and the best agricultural products (honey, olive oil, legumes, etc.). Just a few minutes by car from the Mira Conero Hotel you can reach the Cathedral of San Ciriaco in Ancona, the Sanctuary of Loreto and the medieval villages. The sights around the Hotel are full of unforgettable charm!
